Alcoholism Is A Family Disease That Does Not Discriminate

Alcoholism is a family disease. It can be passed down from Grandpa to Mom to daughter or son, or it can come out of left field, but when it arrives, it’s like a tornado–it has the strength to destroy everything in it’s path. This disease does not discriminate. It touches you, me, your neighbor, and your friends. It knows no boundaries. Talk with your kids. Share your family history. Don’t let it scare or shame you. Don’t hide it. Life is too short and too precious.
