Be Safe, Rather Than Sorry: When In Doubt, Say, No.

Stop, look, and listen. Raising a family is all-consuming and it’s easy to overlook the obvious, especially when a child is asking to play at a friends, go to a movie, or have someone over. What is the situation? Will a parent be present? What is the plan? Is the movie appropriate? Don’t let your child’s enthusiasm cloud your judgement. Take your time before answering. When in doubt, “Just say, no.”
