Create Structure To Increase Kid and Family Success

Take a lesson from your child’s teacher: In order to help your kids be successful, teachers post a daily schedule so your kids know what’s next, a morning arrival checklist with steps like, hang up back pack, return homework folder, etc, and a behavioral chart, so they learn how to treat one another. If your kids are older, they receive a syllabus, grading expectations, etc. These practices creates structure, security, & confidence–success. Children are successful when they know what to do and how to do it. Don’t be afraid to tell them!
