Cut Yourself Some Slack: Focus On What’s Important

Forgive yourself. Cut yourself some slack. Stop beating yourself up for not fitting into a size 4 pair of jeans, or for not baking home made cookies, or for forgetting to put the dollar under your daughter’s pillow after she lost her tooth. It all doesn’t matter. What matters is that you are there, in the moment with your kids–loving them at every turn. All they want is you and they don’t care what size you wear. Be there and be kind.
