ABCs to Happiness for Expectant Moms

From the second you found out you were pregnant, you began preparing: baby names, the nursery and seeking out the latest and greatest baby equipment. Yet how do you prepare to "be" a mom? You want the best for your baby, but juggling it all can be a handful. The more effective and efficient you become now, the more you can relax and enjoy this time of excitement and wonder.

This 4-hour seminar takes you beyond birth and changing diapers to prepare you and your family for a lifetime of joy together. It is offered in either a single 4-hour session or two 2-hour sessions. The small group format allows you to ask questions and connect with other moms who are also embarking on this exciting journey.

    You Will Discover How To:
Make time to nurture yourself and why this is important
Maintain a loving and supportive relationship with your partner
Bond with and nurture your baby
      Create a strong support network
Organize your home to make caring for your baby easier

    Topics Include:

The joys and challenges of motherhood
      The Framework for Success
The Best Practices to increase your effectiveness and enjoyment in the first 100 days and beyond
How to set up your home to make the job easier and more efficient
Open discussion and questions on your concerns as a soon-to-be mom

Who Should Attend: All moms-to-be whether you are expectant or adopting.

    Seminar Fee: $79 per person.

ABCs to Happiness for Expectant Moms is currently offered exclusively through ASK-A-NURSE at Shawnee Mission Medical Center and is open to all moms, whether you are delivering there or somewhere else.

Check Seminar Dates and register or call ASK-A-NURSE at (913) 676-7777.
